Added em today. Pass side took 45 min (mainly because I had a 17 month old helping me) and the drivers side took 25 min.

 

This was the only option I was ticked off about not being able to get (only on 2010 LTZ model)

simple. I have done my wife's tahoe and my truck now. They are plug and play (will not power fold unless reprogrammed and new switches are added)

Do you have the part number for the mirror, I can't find the one with the slim LED lights like yours.

Looks nice. I'm still debating on weather I want that style mirror or to upgrade to towing mirrors. I don't tow often at all, but I like having a good mirror. It seems that everything since my 88 F-150 has crappy mirrors that are designed around aerodynamics rather than function.

Whew!! Good thing you had little man helping you. Just thing how long it would've taken you if he wasn't there to show you how it was done!! Looking to do the same with my 2010 LT. Anyone know the parts #? Looks good.

Yea it was tucked under. Wierd that it was only 1 connector though. My wife's Tahoe utilized both. Oh well it works.

The bad thing now is he goes to the pass side and reaches up trying to open the door. I have created a monster haha.

Way to go starting them young, Ryan. My boy is ten now and has been helping since he was that age. At this point, he is sometimes able to come up with ways of doing things that I do not think of. Now he has his own go kart and mini bike, and he is building a '50 chevy pickup for his first ride in his grandfather's barn (with grandpa's help and funding).

A friend of mine has a '72 or '73 Vette and back when his son was younger, I bought him a t-shirt that said "My other car seat is in a Corvette". Since then I try to find a automotive or funny shirt for him each birthday and for the holidays. He's in 1st grade now but before I am told the staff at his daycare got good at guessing when a new shirt was a "Mike" shirt as he called them. I got a kick out of that.

I will tell you one thing he took apart my craftsman magnetic tool and had it in pieces. I had no clue it had a built in light. He had a battery, spring, and the case laying on the seat I was like WTF took a look and sure enough there always was a light, I think the battery was dead from day 1. I only used it as a pickup/catch tool now that I know it has a light it will make some things much easier. Score 1 for the not quite 2 yr old haha.
