700 sportsman Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Here's my '96 GMC 2500: Here's a collage from when it was new to now:
CorvetteOJ Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Nice trucks guys, OJ that is quite a transformation. Thanks Paul. It is the result of little projects over the period of a year. With two show vehicles, I had to go with the WT model to get is past my "finance minister." Once I got it, I couldn't drive no ugly truck, so I just nickel and dimed it until I got it looking half decent. Inside, I have also added the DIC conversion panel, factory carpet, and WET OKOLE neoprene seat covers which everyone thinks is custom seats. It is very gratifying when another truck guy recognizes the transformation I created. Thanks again!
Pknitty86 Posted April 15, 2011 Author Posted April 15, 2011 Your welcome OJ! I'm still pretty new to the whole truck thing. Thursday was the one week anniversary for when I picked up my GMC. I'm in love it's nice driving something that isn't a 4 banger ricer. lol
tennessee98 Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 here is some Win and Awesome! (I would grab more photos of it, but its 500 miles away in Florida ATM...) 09Lowes...why is your truck 500 miles away currently?
Georgebaumann Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 i love having a regular cab with the 8 ft bed. just reminds me of a typical truck
Georgebaumann Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Here is a pic of my previous truck! Sure miss the 5 speed. [/quote/] u had the 3in bl right? how much did you hate about the nerf bars hanging down that far i had to take mine off. it just didn't look right
rog_ski Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Here is my 06, plain ole truck with an 8' box, 4.8, auto. Added the tonneau Cover, then Dual exhaust and a year ago a set of wheels off a 2010 silverado Picking her up at the dealership 5 years ago February with 8KM on the odometer Dropping the sled Making use of the 8 foot box Last spring with my new wheels
AThomas7782 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Here's my regular cab. Just a leveling kit and 275/70/17 tires.
ruggedlife Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 i forget how to post pics again but here ya go http://s1114.photobucket.com/albums/k539/ruggedlife/ sadly thats not very up to date, i put a 6" lift on and a 1.25 body lift and tires and mirrors and extras and havnt even gotten a picture since january!
mc7719 Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 Here was my former truck, sold it about 8 months ago when I got the new crew cab. This thing was AWESOME offroad..
Black GMC Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Truck is just the way I want it, got the Z71 rims and the windows tinted.
rebelman06 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 This is right after I got it. Only thing I had done at his point was a toolbox and switched to 265/70/17 instead of 245's. The current look: I regret not getting a Z71. I have put a 3" lift on and it is barely higher than a stock 4x4. I am thinking about adding a leveling kit and then I will be done. I plan to buy a new or slightly used Z71 when finish college in 2012.

But then I may be biased.
