Shock Information

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra with the 325 engine . Two wheel drive but has the towing package. I have about 134,000 miles with the original shocks. Its beginning to truly ride like a truck and am open for any recommendation as to replacment shocks. I use it for daily commute and no off road driving, more interested in comfort than performace.

I put Edelbrock Performer IAS shocks on my '97 Z71 and really liked them.

I had a set of Bilstiens on a 2000 Silverado. Dang I miss the sweet street ride of that truck!

Would you reccomend the flex over the sensa -trak in the monroe line. Would bilsteins be better than the Monroes. Im primarly interested in ride quality, I dont haul or tow, its my every day driver.

I just put KYB GR2's on my '06 with 75,000 miles. Much improved over the worn stock shocks. Got them off amazon, about $125 for the set of 4. Two of them were on clearance, and the other two were regular price.

Why not just go with ACDelco oem replacements? I did that on my truck and was pleased as punch. I should mention that they are made by Tenneco though, whom I believe makes Monroe.
