anyone have any issues with the gm bedliner bowing?? Mine seems to have it right behind the window up top. Looks a little weird but i'm concerned that its catching water and sending it under the bedrail.

any ideas?

Yup, get a spray in liner.

^^^^X1000. Those cheap plastic liners will cause your bed to rust out quicker than not having one.

just took the plastic liner out of my bed out about 2 months ago of my 01 which had been in there since new. it was not too pretty underthere so i sanded and repainted my entire bed.

plastic bedliners = no good

I wish I could get a spray in liner but don't have the funds to replace it right now.

Any ideas on this? the liner is centered right. No idea why it would happen

Wrong, I have seen quite a few bed liners removed and not one had rust. We had 2 1992 Chevy trucks at work and removed the original GM bed liner that came with the truck since new and not one had rust in the bed yes the paint was chafed but no rust and they been in there for 19 years with heavy heavy abuse. The bed floor and walls looked 90% better then the rest of the truck.

I had one that would do that when it heated up in the sun. Just take it out and spend $50 on a new rubber mat. Those work great until you get a spray-in. Im thinking of putting one on top of my spray-in because its starting to chip and gouge.

mine is bowing like that too...I'm just leaving it in until i trade my truck in for a new one...then putting in a spray in liner in the new truck

heating and bending it back is the only solution I can think of. I will say that the best thing I ever did was take out my plastic liner and put in a rubber mat (couldn't afford spray-in at the time.)

you don't have to do it right now, make a monthly budget, save your spare cash for a few months and get one sprayed in... no excuses, unless your making minimum wage and have 12 kids at home!!! only then would we question your sanity on owning a fairly new truck

if/when you get your new one, and you order it, make it clear you don't want it in there. i don't believe they are standard equipment. if you get one off the dealer's lot, tell them your not buying it until they remove it and credit the cost of it! i did this when i bought my truck. they credited me $275, i went to a friend that does spray in liners for a living and had one sprayed in for $250!!!
