Bedrug Problem

Is it a problem with it or more of a appearance issue with it? I'd say contact bedrug and see what they say about it.

My dad has one in his truck , i dont remember seeying the zipper but on other hand if its strong / durable, i wouldnt worry about it ..

I have a bedrug and don't have any issues like that. I've had mine both under cover and out in the elements for 6 years. I've hauled all kinds of stuff in it too.

I'd call Bedrug and see what they have to offer about that.

I e-mailed them a picture and they are offering to replace it if I want to send it back to them. I wanted to know if they are all like this or I just got a bad one.

I'll have to decide if it's worth the trouble. They want the old one back before they send me a new one and I'll have to go through the installation process again.

Not really... just leave the velcro in place and the new one should "velcro" right back in... :uhoh: And its all up to you if it's worth it or not. Mine didn't do that. I's all how picky you are. :dunno:

un-velcro it, make sure all the seams are pushed fully inverted, and put it back in place. it could very well be as simple as a slight install mishap where there's not enough room in that area for all of the material so its pushing upwards and showing the zipper.

If that doesn't work, then it may just be a manufacturing defect and they'll replace it. A whole 20-30 minutes to reinstall isn't that bad if they send you a new one.

THAT is bugging you?

Not that I should mock you for it. Weird things bug me too. But that wouldn't

If anything bugged me about the Bedrug, it was the connection between the bed and the tailgate portions...The way it was just this huge flap between them that would stick straight up when you dropped the tailgate. But hey...I still loved the Bedrug, I will buy another one, and I didn't have a good alternative solution to what they came up with to span that gap anyway. :loser:

I just pushed my flap down into the opening the first time I closed the tailgate. After sitting like that for a while the flap formed itself down into the opening instead of sticking up. I've had my BedRug (without any tonneau) for over 14 years now with no problems. BedRug should give me an award or something

Yeah, I bought mine used from a guy that had it for years for hauling music equipment. I hauled ATV's, engines, transmissions, etc back there. All kinds of grubby stuff. It looked brand new when I sold it to the 3rd owner of it.

It's one of the best products I've ever seen...Really. I loved it.

I'd love to see some pics of a 14 year old exposed Bedrug though!

I decided it wasn't worth swapping it out. It does bug me when I see it but I'll get over it. I like it a lot better than the plastic liner... that's for sure.
