When Will The Next Gen Trucks Officially Be Available?

I can not seem to find a definate answer, I think its 2013 but when?

Will they be 2013 models or 2014?

If the factory is already retooling one would think it cant be to long now?

I really like the fact they will be made in the USA!

Nobody knows for sure, we will know when GM tells us, all we can do now is guess(as far as i know) Sooner the better though, I think GM needs a few new good engines to better compete, the 6.2L and Duramax are great, and the others are mostly bulletproof but need to step it up in the technology dept.

Well, I know this, I"ll own the next gen truck, but I won't be buying the first year like I did with this one.

Well I can tell that an ugly truck line [current GMC/Chevy trucks] isn't going to be getting any nicer looking. Looks like the big rig waanabe look is going to continue. Good thing I love my truck's lines, probably not going to be trading it for the foreseeable future. That thing looks ridiculous to me, especially from the front.

Not bad looking...I don't get excited about the super-short beds they're putting on however. I also see a truck as a tool, not just a road show piece however.

That's close to what I've heard for ORDERING one, then delivery would be 2-3 months after that.
