Radio Vin Flash

I know there are numerous threads on here on the step by step procedures on how to flash the vin on a radio for a 2007 silverado. Could someone please provide them to me as my search skills are not rewarding me. I am attenpting to upgrade my 2007 siverado from the 6 disc cd changer to the 1 disc cd/ 1 dvd with usb out of a 2009 or 10 model. I would like the procedures in hand when I go to the dealer as I know the service tech is going to tell me it can't be done right of the bat, and the second thing they are going to ask for is the vin from the previous vehicle.

Thanks i realize that. I was looking for the procedure for the technician when they plug in the tech 2.

This worked for me going from single CD to 6 disc changer. Dealer told me it couldn't be done and I printed off the information and handed it to them and one hr later I had a working stereo.

I just went to the dealer and asked them to flash mine. They didn't ask any questions and I left about 20 minutes later with a working radio.
