Steering Issue - Clunk/pop

Does anyone know the TSB GM put out on this? I had this issue on my '04 2500HD and the dealer replaced even though it was out of warranty. The same issue has come up on my '07 2500HD and the same dealer (different service advisor) wouldn't replace. I'm going to see if another dealer will handle. Thanks folks!

You can try, but I doubt it. GMT 900 models didn't have the problem like the GMT 800 series.

As a follow-up, I finally got around to installing the revised shaft last month and my steering is tight and quiet now. Installation was a breeze and the shaft was cheap too. Thanks again to everyone that posted in this thread!
