How do you flush the fluid from the torque converter?

I'm looking to change the tranny fluid in my 2500HD but am not sure how to drain the fluid that's in the torque converter. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Take it in and have it put on a flush machine. That is the quickest, easiest and safest way to get it done.

You can exchange all your fluid using this method.

Or you can do a couple of pan drops over a period of time to get most of the older fluid out

Txab's instructions work very well. I've been doing my vehicles this way for years.

Got to make sure the drain hose remains in the drain bucket......................otherwise you rustproof the vehicle and the driveway.
