what do you guys think/know about these electronic anti rust/corrosion modules as opposed to good ol undercoating? dealerships seem to be be pushing the modules now??

I got one in my truck. They help, but the module is not a one fix. I also KROWN my truck.

I've got undercoating, and I'm still getting rust. Sighhh... it seems the GMT-900 was meant to breed it.

The only place I see rust on my frame is on the front crossmember where my floor jack has messed up the gooey undercoating. The spots of rust match the dotted pattern of the rubber pad on the jack.

That rust module gotta be good, US navy use them on their submarines, which are in salt water, all kind of different alkalinity of water. I don't have one on my truck, my notices the vehicules I work on that hove on seems to don"t rust as quick as others. But the only tried and true way to help your paint is washing your truck often and thouroughly. Rince your frame, engine shampoo, jambs cleaning and all. Takes fifteen minutes in a car wash, truck will look amazing for years. Take it from a painter and proud owner of a black 2012 ltz 6.2 silverado.

I had one installed on my truck...........I don't think i would bother on my next one....I'd just have it sprayed.
