93 Sierra will not run

I have 93 sierra that I plow with. All of a sudden it started to run very rough and when I give it more gas, it dies, then it is hard to start or won't start. It seems to be getting way too much fuel, could this be caused by the ERG valve? I have swapped out a few censors(MAP.Temp) just to check. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Why do you think it's getting my too much fuel?

Have you check to make sure the induction is free of blockages? If it had a MAF sensor, I'd say to check that, but I don't think the 93's do.

Under what conditions are you experiencing the problem? Cold start?

The truck will strart if you hold the throttle to the floor, then let off once it starts. With the some help, and the air breather off I could visually see the fuel. Seemed to be too much fuel. When the truck is cold it will start and idle for a short bit. then when it goes under load it wants to stall, unless you play with the throttle. Give it too mush throttle and it stalls instantly

Does it stall when it starts to warm up or even when its cold?

If its mostly stalling once it warms up check the coolent temperature sensor in the front of the intake manifold and swap it for a new one.

Also take off the TPS and see if there is lots of crap built on on the inside. If so swap it out.

You should be able to get both of these sensors for under $50

Good Luck!

I have a 91 Chevy k1500 4.3 that did the exact same thing. Replaced just about everything, now it will fire up, but it stumbles real bad for about 5 seconds, then quits. Gonna try a new fuel pump relay, and new coolant temp sensor hopefully this weekend.
