3M clear paint protection tape

Before the winter I took the time to cover any area I thought may get damaged by road debris and just regular wear. GM installs a piece on each side on the box but thats not enough.

Included a couple a photos if someone wants any ideas where I put it.

Also installed it on the door sills where my kids get in and out almost daily.(no photos of that)

So far the stuff is standing up well to the regular washes and sever cold.

I drew arrows where the tape is I installed hopefully there clear enough.

Will answer any questions on installing it, if you have them.

I bought it from a local autobody paint and supply store.

Make sure you get 3M product it is thicker than most other brands.

I used that stuff before, worked OK but yellowed after a while. Hope you have better luck with it.

Yes the 3M brand on my 98 truck yellowed after years but I just peeled it off and installed new. There was no damage.

This time I have used a different brand that is clearcoated so time will tell if it is better.
