Ok so I've been getting a lot of mixed feelings about ac delco oil filters, it's true they still use the metallic center at least the pf48 does, now is it safe to use full synthetic and run that ac delco filter for 6000 miles?

Providing you ARE NOT towing, you can safely keep the full synthetic oil in your crankcase for 10K.

Yes, and the oil still is drained reletivly (sp) clean after that amount of milage.

 

I used this interval in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe, and had 108k miles on it when I traded it in for my current vehicle. Oil was still clean @ 10k change intervals.
