coolant smell

I have a coolant smell, that i can smell through the cab of my truck while driving. It has to be getting on something hot somewhere and burning, otherwise i dont know how the smell could be so strong, i have checked all the known places, the inlet and outlets of the radiator and the hoses. I also replaced thermostat gasket , because i figured it would seep by and burnup on the engine block without being a noticeable leek. the old gasket was actually broken to so i thought i had fixed the problem. I can still smell the coolant just as strong though, and its quite annoying having chicks complain about the smell when they ride around with me. any ideas to the source of this leak. also my engine temps have remained stable, and from what i can tell there is no difference in my coolant level

+1 on the intake manifold. Look toward the backside of the motor.

Id guess the intake manifold or the water pump weep holes or the heater core. If the carpet is wet underneath on the passenger side it is the core.

More than likely seep in heater core. Only way smell should be able to get into cab of truck. When it gets worse a film will develop on windshield when you use defroster. I would try pressure test on heater core by taking both lines loose and applying air pressure

Also look at the quick connector on the back of the engine...known to crack and seep.
