GMC Sierra crew cab SLT OR LE possibly new that I plan on getting within next few months and I plan on getting the fiberglass bed cover later on. I was thinking about getting the rubber bedliner vs the other ones. Thoughts and prices associated with the various kind?

Also, I probably want to get the bed rails as well so is there a special bed cover that the rails would mount through? As far as getting the rails, if i don't get the bed cover and rails same time, which one must I do first?

Also, how do you guys think the white trucks look with a dark interior? I have always liked a darker interior like black or dark grey; also never owned a white vehicle. I think that cashmere fits better but ofcourse harder to keep clean. I wish they had available the colors that the king ranch seats come in, that peanut butter color or caramel for the interior

Thoughts on all three?

I also have a white truck with dark interior and I think it looks great too! IMO a white truck is easier to keep clean than other colors.

I have the BedRug liner in my truck. It is 10 years old (Itransfered it from mu '01 to my '05) and it still looks good!

As far as the light color truck with the dark interior i'd say go for it! kids or not it always seem that light colored interiors always get dirty. And for the bed cover, have u looked into any of the roll-n-lock products? i have one on my truck and will never own another truck whithout one. You will be able to still use the bed rails with it.

+1

Here's another vote for the BedRug. I've had one in my '94 for almost 15 years (open bed, no tonneau) and it still looks good!

leave the light colored interior for the cars that don't get dirty. i got black interior because i knew dirt and mud would find its way inside. i also chose white because it doesn't show scratches or swirls like black paint does. IMO the color that stays looking cleaner than others is silver... or brown, but why would you want a brown truck :D

i have the ebony and ivory combination color interior and love it. I hunt and fish and I have never had any stains on my truck but it is also leather which is easy cleanup and is why I bought leather in the first place and also I have protective floor mats. I have owned black as well as dark blue vehicles and by far the easiest to keep clean is the white. Black looks sharper when new and clean but the swirl marks from routine washing and waxing would drive me mad

+1 for LineX, I am VERY happy with it. I had a Bedrug on my Lightning. They are good if you have a bed cover and don't use the the bed much.

Line-X is by far the best spray in bedliner on the market. I did my own bedliner and used Herculiner, bed doesn't get used much. It has held up though and seems pretty tough. Doesn't even compare to Line-X though.

Had Rhino Liner in my old Silverado and didn't really care for it much.

I really don't use my truck to haul things, but it is nice to know I can if needed. I did opt to have the Line-X liner put in and I installed the bed rail covers. I also installed the post hole tie down hooks that are retractable since the factory tie downs are low in the bed. I think that should be enough for me. I don't keep anything in the bed so it is empy all the time.

I guess it depends on how you use the truck and if you keep stuff in the back.

Good luck.

Both of my 900's have been white. My first one had the ebony/ivory interior while my newest one is all ebony. I have to say I prefer the ebony/ivory combo. I like the look of the two colors split like that. As far as cleanliness goes I have to say ebony is better. With a little girl riding in the back now I'm sure those ivory seats would be destroyed. Also I'm another big fan of the retrax/roll n lock type bed covers. I love my retrax!

I have to replace my pendaliner soon. I won't be getting another drop-in plastic bedliner. Stuff gets trapped underneath, then the bedliner grinds it against the paint until you see bare metal; now the bed is rusting. Stuff slides around when I drive. The only thing the pendaliner does is protect against dents. I'm leaning toward the bed rug. Most of the time my bed is covered.

I hate tan interiors. They show every little thing. Shoe swipes on the door panels, dirt on the carpet/seats, smudges on the dash, etc. Simple Green takes most of the black smudges/scuffs out, but it takes a little scrubbing with a soft brush. Gray is 10x better because hardly anything shows. Black is okay for everything except dust, which must be cleaned so frequently.

Window tint and/or a folding sun shield is the best way to keep the interior from heating up in the summer. If you get a sun shield spend the extra $10 or $20 to get a good one; the cheap ones lose their firmness and look like a crumped mess after a few months.

White with black interior looks best in my opinion.... i had gray in my 2001 and it looks good for a while but after about 6 years i couldnt get it clean anymore.
