daryl , I am debating just removing the bowtie, or painting just the gold bowtie white and leaving the chrome surround.. Does the gold separate from the chrome? wondering if i can stick a thin screwdriver in between chrome and gold insert and pop out the gold. Not sure tho.

Today I installed the bull bar.. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/151227-bull-bar-installed/ Pics there.

Not really sure. Once it was off I chucked it in my toolbox. I'll have to look at it tomorrow.

Thanx, that would be great. If it is still in good shape and you want to sell it, I might take it as a spare in case i crack mine.

That was just a run on sentence. There was no comma-splice, or fragment.

Boats and toilets. That's why I go by Jonathan. Show me a pic of that motor Danny, I don't know if I've seen one.

I doubt you have, they're very rare. Mine is a 97 model. Mercury's motor, but outfitted with the pump by another company, I don't remember who. Paint is a little rough and graphics are pretty faded on one side. I want to redo the engine cover when I repaint the boat itself.

Actual output is around 16hp since the jet loses some. But it's flush with the bottom of the boat which is well worth the loss. I also like it because of the simplicity. No lower unit with gears, just a turbine that pushes the boat and feeds the cooling water. All that controls your direction is the flip up reverser that you can see under the output. The silver canister is a sediment filter for running in very muddy water. I bypassed it for now because the pinhole that sediment is supposed to drain from is too large and not enough water was getting to the engine.

Thanks for the education Danny. That's pretty cool. Looks like they still make a four stroke version. Can't believe I've never seen one before- oh wait, that's right, I'm in the middle of freakin' Iowa. Of course, you're in the middle of Kansas...

That's really cool Ryan, your little guy even has a truck with a matching color to yours.
