I had less than a quarter tank left last time I filled with 91, and filled the tank for $67. I was pretty happy. Thought I'd brag.

Well going up a long 6% grade truck was in second. Tablet said load was 100% throttle was at 99.9% engine temp rising to 254* it was bogging down and died. 1 cooling fan was inop again. But it died which confused me. It fored right back up I got the coolant back down to 230 and it pulled find the rest of the way. Im confused why it died. Trans temp never got above 215* on that hill. Most the pull it was around 180*

Towed my dad's 05 Colorado from Nashville to South Carolina. It actually did well in my eyes being I was damn close to max tow rating. Averaged 12 ish mpgs the whole way. Whether or not thats good, I don't know lol. He wants me to fix it up for my little brother when he turns sixteen. I agreed being he said he would pay for all the upgrades lol. So I'll probably have a build thing for this little truck.

Installed Pro Stop rear brake pads. Had about 1/3 left on both pads. Will bleed out all the old brake fluid tomorrow and fill new.

Not my truck but yesterday at the strip I watched a 2500HD Duramax do the 1/4 in 10.2@130 MPH. Probably the fastest street driven vehicle there.

Anyone use the Carded Brake Bleeder Screws? And does anyone know the size needed for the 071/2 1500 Silverado 2x4?

I used the motive pressure bleeder on my old e30. That thing was worth every penny. I did it yearly myself so it paid for itself.

At the dealer for an oil change and rotate. You guys who said sticker price has been jacked up prior to the 2014s are dead on- there is a regular cab 2013 that has a sticker price of $37,000, same as my 2011 ex cab was!

I've noticed this at my dealer too.

I put on new Brake shoes a few days ago and was able to get to flushing my brake fluid today. I put on Dorman Corded Break Bleeder Screws "Speed Bleeders". For anyone wanting to change out their bleeder valves the front and rear are different. The front thread is M10-1.5 x 33 Pep Boys Part # 12702, Their larger than the rear. The rear thread is 15/16-24 x 1 Pep Boys Part # 12704. I upgraded to Valvoline DOT 3&4 Brake Fluid. I used Approx. 32oz. to flush. Pedal is super firm and stops like a Vette.
