I agree. Fortunately with the way my living situation is and going to school instead of work, I don't have to take any of my vehicles out in this crap. I live a block from my school so I walk. Hoping I'll save on rust until I can move south.

I learned that I hate the drum setup on The 05-07c pickups today. Changed a friends Oil out to Amsoil OE. Then had to do his rear brakes. Pain in the ass and he had a blown wheel cylinder. Also found out his 07c crew cab doesn't take the same filter as every other gen 3 v8. Had to confirm with Danny that his 06 with flex takes the same filter as my 6.0 and my brothers LM4. This took a PF48, PF64, or M1-113. Every other Gen 3 I have dealt with took a PF46, PF61, M1-107 or M1-206. What should have been 2-3 hours helping out a friend took 6 hours. And the external torx bolts for the wheel cylinder was completely stupid and I happened to be missing the E8 so I had to go get one

Gabe07c will owe me one

I think my brothers 07 took a PF48 and my 06 takes a PF46. Both were L33's too.

Yea it suprised me when I went to do that first oil change on mine, after I did his truck, and I found out that I had the wrong filter. Edited by Daryl Z71

Went to the gas station and filled my 8 fuel jugs. I couldn't fit my fuel barrel between the door jamb and our Grand Marquis ...and with 15w-40 sitting in the crankcase, there was no way in hell I was going to fire it up with the indoor temp being 28°.

The truck now has an additional layer of pure white on it.

Never fails. Last year when the thing was Fluid Filmed from head to toe, I hardly drove in the salt. This year I get lazy & leave the undercarriage dry, and wouldn't ya know, I have to head out in every single salt event ... which has been just about daily lately.

Filled it up in preparation of the coming snow/ice storm. NC getting 4 to 8 inches. It is the end of the world as we know it. :)
