Spent the last couple days going between vehicles multiple times a day. New tire on the truck plus welded cat heat shield. Then picked up something

Yea the oil pan design definitely didn't help me out any. Does that kit work pretty well? The one I have from Advance Auto is a joke.

I have all the AMSOIL ones. Only used like 3 of them

I think the one I have is made by Astro. ... ... ...

Well, I was close ...

It's actually an Ampro  - a14-piece set, model #: T75871 https://www.amazon.com/AMPRO-T75871-Filter-Wrench-14-Piece/dp/B00A4AKTR0

There's been a couple times where I needed something in between the sizes I have, but I made it work. I might sell this one at some point, and grab a 30 piece set.

On the shop front, got a '08 Impala in for an AIR system P0411, and the accompanying "rejected" sticker. What a friggin waste of money. Lady is on a fixed income, but because she lives in this communist bastion, she has to shell out almost $200 in parts to get this POS, USELESS system working again. Makes me so mad!!

Turns out, the thing had a stuck AIR solenoid valve, and a bad solenoid valve relay. Of course, it's a GM specific relay, with ZERO information on it. Might just hack the wiring and install an old school cube relay. Stupid, useless garbage ...

In between that toilet, I helped a single mom that lost all her lug nuts out on the main road here. Amazed the wheel didn't completely fall off - it came off the studs, but the rotor was riding in the drop-center of the rim! Crazy. Had her 2 year old girl in the car, too.  Replaced all 6 studs and nuts, then added a gallon of coolant and 2 quarts of oil to her engine, and replaced a busted pressure sensor with a regular rubber stem (at her request, since none worked anyway). Probably a good thing she broke down there! An engine is MUCH more spendy than 6 studs and lug nuts. Told her she was all set, but she gave me $30. When she wasn't looking I put it back in her console ... but she was pretty sharp. She gave me a hug, and stuffed it back in my pocket, lol.

An AR. Going full CSL lol. The blue and and carbon fiber at least. A friend had an M3 in that color with the CSL stuff on it. Beautiful car and the contrast between the blue and CF was amazing. So I’m going to recapture that, but with a matte clear. On a gun.

That's gonna be MINT when it's done! Nice color.

Changed driver side headlight lamp.  Was able to do it with a selection of hooks, screwdrivers and slip joint pliers and minor scratches (on me) vs the the factory procedure of removing the front of the truck. Really could they have come up with a worse design for this? :shakehead:

Welcome to my world. I see and deal with idiotic engineering daily. I swear the bastards are doing this on purpose. There can be no other explanation for the stupidity I see!
