yankees? poor kids :)

I started claying my truck, have the two front fenders, hood, and pass side completely done

I am putting this on then topping with some collinite 845. Should offer up excellent winter protection :)

And durability tests compared to black diamond or whatever you were using?

How is collinite on the Camaro. Im about at wits end on Ultimate Meguairs streaking on dark paint. The stuff lasts a good while and is cheap to buy, but too much work to remove. I'll keep it on Tahoe and Corolla, can't see streaks on the light color.

I dont use collinite on the camaro. Dont need the long term durability. I have used dodo juice and its ok but I have switched to chemical guys Petes 53 wax. It is awesome leaves a "dripping" wet look

is that a sealer? i need to find a sealer for my paint.

Yea.

Blackfire also has a good paint sealant

does it repair clearcoat? isnt that kinda what sealer does in a way?

No. Sealer seals. It puts a chemical layer on the paint to seal it from the outside environment.

If your clear coat is having issues but is still there use the meguiars ultimate line for an easy fix. Compound, polish, and then the wax. I recommend washing it again soon after the wax cause it has streaking issues on well prepared paint. They make a buffer that attaches to a drill also. It will increase effectiveness. Amazon sells a full kit that is very reasonably priced, I'll try to find it

Its not very harsh so you have to really jack it up to hurt your paint.

Found it. Watch the price, I've seen it in the 60s. I just paid up and bought the griots garage orbital buffer, its pricey though but a great value and warranty. I use it a lot so its worth it IMO. Its on amazon too. And will get more use from the polish and compound with the right pads.
