Respect or Disrespect?

I have yet have someone say anything negative. Even my dodge buddies say the like the truck...I know that is hard to believe. Thing is, GM just has it figured out right now and most know it.

The first thing anyone notices is the deer slayer on front. From there it's either "man that bumper looks sick nasty!" or "what an ugly POS!"

People like the color, the rims, and exhaust most of the time, but even those can be mixed responses.

I get compliments most time on my truck by strangers, but the only time my truck gets snubbed is by Ram Hemi owners they seemed to have there heads up there asses, they all think there trucks are better and faster, these are guys I work with I'm talking about. There are alot of Ram Hemis at work.h

Sounds familiar...

I get a lot of compliments on the sound, stereo, lights, what ive towed, and also my tow mirrors. a lot of honda owners try to race. hybrid owners scoff at the gas station, and some truck owners say my truck is too low or too high

Most people compliment, have yet to get any complaints. If they don't like it that's fine, I paid for it for me to like, not the guy in the little red civic with giant wing on the back and 12" tailpipe.

I get more negative political comments than anything (ie Government Motors) This is mainly from the Ford diehards. I didn't buy a truck as a political statement; I bought what I wanted. We still live in America right?

Usually though I don't hear very much negative. Most everyone who knows me understands I can give as well or better than I get. I honestly don't care what negatives I hear, when they start forking over my payment I might start paying attention. I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.

As long as you're happy with your truck (or anything for that matter), that's the only opinion that counts.

I get some compliments on my Suburban. They dont believe it when I tell them its a '92 because its in such great shape for an older 4x4 (Well, better shape now since I replaced the passenger side mirror I busted like a jackass  ). People often ask how it is on gas. I tell them its quite fond of gas and if they would like to donate some, it would be very happy.

Lets see some pics.

Looks good. I'd guess it's a 99 at first glance.

I get compliments from strangers almost on a daily basis. From old to young kids alike.

For some weird reason it gets a lot attention LOL!

How do you feel most people are about your truck?

Do people tend to want to trash talk or race you or do they compliment you and want to check out your truck?

Elaborate with examples, if you wish.

I get many more compliments than anything else. Not a very ellaborate story, but that's been my experience. Now that mine is 5 years old, it is transitioning from "nice truck" to "you willing to sell it?"

I get allot of compliments. One dodge guy was a Smartazz, when we put them in the street, the 6.2 walked away from his hemi, after that he is nice now.... LOL

Nobody pays much attention to the truck that I have noticed. Too many trucks around this area I guess. Now the Challenger and Jeep get a good bit of attention. Mostly positive with the exception of a few hybrid owners. :M16:

At least they aren't Toyota drivers! I had a guy at work tell me that a Toyota was better than any domestic truck, guess I'll never know. They may be built in America, but the profit goes back to Japan.
