Hey guys/gals im looking at a awesome deal im getting on some wheels. but am worried what it will take to fit.

 

looking at XD revolver bronze 18x9 4.5" of backspace aka (-12mm)

 

truck: 2001 gmc sierra z71- can i make this work with just a level kit?

 

tires 265/70/18 32.6"---- want to run 275/70/18 33" but dont know if i will yet

 

here some pics tell me what you all think; attached is the differance between my stock vs the new tires . my issue is this is a 18" wheel that is 9" wide and 4.5 of backspacing worried ill have to get a bigger lift then a level kit

I would say you will have to do some serious trimming. maybe more. Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in.

I know the fender openings on the 800 series trucks are a little more generous than the 900's....however, I still think they'll rub with just a leveling kit. The extra height of the 275/70's....along with the -12mm offset...might cause you problems.
