phattruk Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 where is the FPR on a chevy 2001 1500hd 6.0? is it on the engine block or is it part of the fuel pump assembly. have the fuel pressure leak down issue that occurs overnight. Truck runs fine once it starts. I just changed my '04 escalade fuel pump due to the FP lines being rotted (rust) and was told the FPR was built into the pump. Just wondering if the '01 has the same design. Thanks
RyanbabZ71 Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 Check this out. I had a pic but cant find it on my hard drive http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115683&hl=%2Bfuel+%2Bpressure+%2Bregulator
phattruk Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 thanks. i'll take look for that tmrw morning. hopefully its there and thats the problem and not the check valve in the fuel pump. just did the escalade and the quick connects broke for the evap hose and had to purchase the entire hose assembly since you can't purchase the evap quick connects separately.
