Had the Sport installed today. Sounds pretty good so far. Four cylinder mode is a wee bit more noticeable but still a non-issue. If the Touring was/is quieter than the Sport then I'm glad I drug my feet and missed the chance to get the Touring muffler only.

The sport sounds much better, touring is to calm. You made the right call getting the one you have.

Does the sport sound different in v4?

When it drops to 4 cylinders it's a little more noticeable than the stock muffler. But it sounds great otherwise.

Also I recently added the Airaid Jr. intake tube only (keot the stock airbix abd filter). I haven't driven the truck enough to see any difference in mileage or even seat-of-the-pants performance difference.

But the two add-ons combined sound great together!!!

You won't see any difference in mpg's from that stuff. That MIT tube is a good add on. Hopefully you got the non-oiled filted when you ordered the MIT system. It is cheaper though just to order the MIT by itself.

You can still get just the touring muffler from borla, I just ordered one last week and am having it installed tommorrow. You just have to give them the part number which is 19131346 It was like $110 shipped

Well took the truck into get the muffler installed and he didn't want to put it on because of the offset of the pipes. So he never put it on and I am not sure if i am gonna go some place else or just return it.

O

That's sad. Its nothing for a muffler shop. Take it to someone who is halfway decent.

Yea, find another shop to do it, just make sure they have a good reputation thou. You will love it, I really love the sound of my touring muffler!
