Good idea. Keep us posted on how it turns out...........Did the system also come with the GM welded tip?

Got it installed today. They did it like I wanted it to be. Used the tailpipe and muffler from the kit and also used part of the intermediate pipe the he opened up to fit the stock pipe and welded the two intermediate pipes together and clamped the muffler on both ends. That way if I change my mind and want the Sport muffler I can just swap it out with no issues. Sounds great IMO but I know it has to brake in alittle. It only cost me $60 for them to do all the work.

Good deal and great price for the install and work they did. I have the GMPP exhaust on my 08 Vortec Max and love it. It will wake up a little after a 100 or so miles.

I know it will get a little better after time. This is my 3rd GMPP touring system and I love these kits!! Had one on my first 07 Sierra and then the 08 Tahoe and now this 07 Sierra.

I like the sound but the stock muffler ain't too shabby either IMO.

I have a 2500hd 6.0l and this was the work that needed to be done to get it to fit. 6.0L have 3.5" exhaust this muffler is only like 2.25" maybe 2.5"

No problem. In the cab its decent. On a scale from 1-10 for drone I would say its a 1. Its really not even drone, its more just the sound of the muffler. At highway speeds you don't hear anything at all. It is pretty tame untill you get on it. I'll try to get a better video soon. Lately I've been leaning towards getting a corsa db system, but just cant rationalize spending $636.00. Hope that helps you.

Finally pulled the trigger.

I decided to go ahead and order the Corsa DB #24792. Estimated ship date of 10/3.

I'll post a new thread detailing the install after it arrives.
