Don't know what's going on with some but 2010 CC Silverado lined up without issue. Any pics of the so called offset?

Are you guys removing the tailpipe from the hanger after cutting the muffler off?

My factory muffler has the input from the engine side in the dead middle of the muffler, and the exhaust side going out the back of the truck on one side (i believe it was the right side). I would say out of line by around 3 inches.

My outlet is offset just as described above. Had my magnaflow taken off yesterday and replaced with the GMPP. Its perfect. I loved the magnaflow (22") but wanted it to be a hair louder and that's exactly what the GMPP did for me. Wish I could go with the sport but I drive too much and on the phone a lot.

I went with the "touring" too. I've got my old '79 C20 with just straight pipes from the cat's back. Great for hot rodding around and hearing the cam, but can cause to go deaf at highway speeds or when I tow. I wanted to hear the exhaust on my 2009...but not have to wear earplugs when I travel. Had mine welded on this morn for 50 bucks. I'm happy with it!

They just kinda twist it in place and not bend any pipe?

I have a 2011 Crew Cab 4X4 and the muffler shop had to mandrel bend pipe to make it fit on my truck due to the offset of the stock exhaust system and then welded everything in place but used the stock hangers in their original placement. In 5th and 6th gears you cannot tell the muffler is even there, even when it kicks into AFM above 60 mph and I got the sport muffler. It sounds like a truck should sound without being overly loud and obnoxious.

I took mine to my local shop and had them cut my stock muffler off and install the new Borla Sport. I even had them utilize my Accuseal clamps that I paid $30 bucks for instead of welding it. I decided to go this way in case I wanted to switch to a Touring model down the road.

To echo the others here, I think the Sport muffler is perfect. It had a deep tone sound to it when you get on it or when the engine is under load, but at cruise and around town it is barely louder than the factory.

My buddy that has been around and rode in my old 2010 6.2 liter swears it sounds the same if not better than my 6.2 factory exhaust. If any of you own a 6.2, you know the factory exhaust sound pretty darn good.

Video to come later today of the new exhaust once it cools off outside. (Its 106F right now.)

Possibly.

When I did my exhaust I did cat-back so never noticed what my Ext. cab looked like. I'll have to take a look at both OEM muccfler when I get home and see if the yare slightly different.

They just cut my new muffler down and cut angled connectors to slip over the the muffler ends. It runs about the same angle as my driveshaft...but higher. Never touched the stock hangers.

Running the Bilstein 5100's. Have the height adjustable on the front, set to the highest setting. Raised it about 2". Took forever to get them though. Rears were on national backorder. Can't say enough good things about 'em. Great ride!

So here is the best video I could get tonight since it was already dark at the time of recording.

As stated in my earlier post, I have a completely stock exhaust except for the standalone GMPP (Borla) "Sport" muffler that I had installed today using Accuseal clamps.

Turn your speakers up and enjoy! I know I did.

Well. I am now interested in hearing the difference between the two different mufflers.......So I just ordered the Touring model. Should be here in a few days, and since I just clamped my Sport model on, I am going to switch them out and see what the difference is for myself. I will do some comparison Audio /Video clips once it gets hear. :D
