Dust in interior – on the face of the Radio – GMT-900’s-2012’s

With the way the radio is positioned, with its sloping front, dust settles on the black plastic face where the digital read out shows.

Is there anything to put on the front to keep the dust build up to a minimum…??

I don’t want to keep wiping it, for fear of it getting scratched.

Any suggestions, solutions, are Greatly appreciated…!!

It is stupid these trucks do not have a cabin filter or at least the option to install one (without doing a custom hack job). Our 2002 Yukon had one and both the Jeep and Challenger had the option to add one. All are/were clean inside with minimal maintenance. The new truck is dust covered inside within a couple of days. :nopity:

I go over the interior of the truck at least once a week with the mini California car duster.

I couldn't agree with you more. Many of the roads here are dirt and its dry. At that point might as well keep the windows open because your going to get the dust in the truck anyway.

Manufacturers stopped including cabin filters because most folks didn't know to check them before they clogged and A/C damage was done, and since filters aren't covered under warranty any repairs due to filter neglect wasn't covered as well.

Or yet another cost cutting measure.....

How on earth would a clogged cabin filter damage the AC system? At most you might burn out the blower motor but even that is a stretch.
