Broke down and got me a 03 on Thursday, burgundy/pewter with the 5.3. With the $3000 rebate, 4.9% financing, and them giving me $20,000 for my 99 I explained to my wife that I'd be the laughing stock of the town if I didn't.

You can't beat the low-rate financing all the manufacturers are offering nowadays. Ford was doing 0%/36mo and 3.9%/48mo and I think 5.9%/60mo when I bought my F250 last September.

Did you get another Z71 ext cab or what? My bro-in-law's dad bought a new 03 and the new dashboard layout is a big improvement. Enjoy the truck!

I also recently purchased an 03, Z71 with the 5.3 on December 27th. Other than a defective 4WD electronic gizmo that went out within a few hours, the truck's quality has been simply amazing. I usually can find a couple of days' worth of warranty issues on a new vehicle after the purchase.

The truck is quiet, doesn't rattle you to death when going over bumps. My truck's color is a light pewter.
