Line X on bottom

Recommended Posts

I have been contemplating getting Line X on the bottom of my truck. Being that it is black it is always getting dirty and rock chipped. I was wondering if anyone had done this on a NNBS. I am trying to see how big of a section I should have them do. I am thinking about a 4 or 5 inch strip would look good but not for sure

If you have the side moldings on I would line x up to those or just below. They also have a line x premium(or some other name) that keeps it shiny and black, I think it's a clear coat, but that might match your paint even better.

I vote for just under the molding

I've thought about doing it myself, wouldn't look good the way I have my truck set up as is, but I think it would work very well and on your setup you wouldn't even notice it. I say go for it.

X2 for the clear bra. I saw another members truck with the linex up to the mouldings; it looked terrible. I have the clear 3M stuff on my hood in lieu of a bud defelector and have it on the door sills. Best thing about it is if it gets damaged, it can come off and get re-applied.

I suppose it depends on the truck. I have a friend on a farm with line x on the rockers, small lift and some aggressive tires and it looks bad a$$, kinda mean. If you're sticking to stock or street, maybe the 3M is the way to go. Did my door sills with it- pretty good protection.

+1

I did the 3M on my hood and after 3 years still looks great. From more than a few feet away you can't even see its on there.
