Chris Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Ordering from shopsar.com I picked my colors, just going with the stock look nothing fancy. but I am answering the questions. The ones that get me are about the seat size. I indicated that they are 40/20/40. Now I have the option of 40/20/20 with center armrest or 40/20/40 without center armrest. Which is it? Also is the back seat cushion considered solid? I believe it is since it does not split, but the headrests are separate and the bottom folds up. Interior is not my strong suit. Thanks in advance for the help
Carder09 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Well what type of seats do you have in the front? I would order mine with center armrest I think since I have the split 40 20 40 seats with the center console/armrest.
Chris Posted October 1, 2012 Author Posted October 1, 2012 I had the 40/20/40 with the folding center seat. I took the center seat out but I don't know if the center armrest means jump seat or the armrest built in the buckets
BlackZ71Silverado Posted November 3, 2012 Posted November 3, 2012 Did you ever end up getting the Katzkin leather for your truck?
Chris Posted November 3, 2012 Author Posted November 3, 2012 No not yet. I backed out on that for now and got my MBRP exhaust instead and funded a vacation in Utah. It's on my to do list but not high. With traveling the MBRP was needed. The Flowmaster wasn't great for long drives
BlackZ71Silverado Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 Good move.....I just did my 2010 in Katzkin Black. When you are in the market again, check ebay. Got mine for $550.00 shipped for an extended cab. Much cheaper than anywhere else. Got them form "seats-r-us" I believe.
Chris Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 Now I ordered a $500 alternator and ordering 15 ft of 1/0 cable tonight. Need that for the stereo. I think 3.73's and a TruTrac to replace my open 3.42 is next Sent from my DROID RAZR using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
BlackZ71Silverado Posted November 4, 2012 Posted November 4, 2012 4.10's would make that 4.8L feel like a entitely different truck. Had those gears in my 2000 ZR2 blazer with a 4.3L and it was impressive. It may be worth the extra $ since you only have to do the rear end. Take a look at the G80 also, unless you already have your mind made up. Sent from my iPhone4S using Tapatalk
Chris Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 I can't find a new G80 and hard to find a used unless I find a 9.5 or 10.5 whatever the 2500's have. And I drive probably 65-70% highway. At least 250-300 miles a week on the highway. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
