Hello everyone.I just created this account about 3 minutes ago, i drive a 2004 GMC Sierra 2WD extended cab Reg Box with a 4.8L.

I am having trouble location my block heater, im not sure if i do actually have one or not.

I have bought one from canadian tire assuming that i dont have one,

So my main Questions are

Has anyone els had trouble finding theirs? & Where did you find it (if you did)

and

Where woould i install one on a 4.8L vortech?

I just moved to edmonton and its starting to get cold around here so i would like to have my truck ready for winter,

Thanks all

Should be on drivers side of engine block near oil filter. It screws into one of the casting holes, should have a 17 mm hex plug in it if it does not have heater installed.
