2013 Price increase?

Went to a GMC dealer today as they had a identical truck to what they had when there back in late October. The October truck was a 2013 & sold the following week. Current truck that was delivered a few days ago(has not went through pdi yet) that is identical is $995 higher. Options all match & are the same price, but the base went up. Had not seen or noticed price increases within a model year previously. Just thought I would mention it.

There are most likely some accessories on that truck., happens all the time. Price will increase for wheel well liners, under rear seat storage, nerf bars, fancy exhaust tip, GM plastic bed liner, etc. Make sure you look through the truck, it's pronbably not the exact same as the other one.........2013 prices in my area are up to $8,500 under window sticker pricing. HAve not seen any truck prices go up.

There are anywhere from 1 -3 base Msrp bumps in a given model year. They usually seem to be about 1.5% to 3%. Also at $995 it seams like this one may have a convince package if its not the base msrp bump.

Yeah, it is in the base price. I took a picture in October of the sticker. Didn't take one today of the current one, but can reference via link on dealers site. Both are identical, just add $995 to the standard vehicle price. Just always thought monetary changes were at the model year change or for a new option etc.

The 2013 model Yukon Denali was $650 higher than the identical 2012.

The 2013 Sierra Denali HD I ordered has a price increase from when we ordered it on December 3. When it was invoiced on December 17 it was about $950 higher than when we ordered it. Thankfully it is price protected since we made it a sold order back on the 3rd.

I doubt the prices have gone up much, I am test driving a 13 Silverado ext cab Z71 Lt. Pretty basic stuff, 5.3 dual zone ac, bluetooth, etc. Sticker is 37,500, I am going to pay 26,500 after rebates/employee discount. Really can't beat that deal!

You are right on target, I noticed several new deliveries that are 700 - 900 more on the base price than units delivered only a couple of months ago. Happens every model year.
