Howdy folks...name's Ronnie, age 63, and I have been a faithful GMC owner since 76'...had a 1500 back then...then an 88' 1500 long wheel base...both 350s...now a 2001 2500HD 6 liter gas...towing package...

 

All of them have given me excellent performance with very little trouble over the years...the 2500 I have now has about 145,000 on it and I am going to keep it "till the wheels fall off"....

 

I am looking for information on a coolant leak I can't find...it's not the water pump, and all the hoses are good with no leaks...I am hoping it is not the radiator or a gasket...the truck has been serviced on schedule since it was new...

 

Off to try and find some information...

You can add dye to the coolant to aid in tracking down your leak, if it's external

thanks for the tip...I have decided just to take it to my mechanic...he's my neighbor...that's how frustrated I am...besides...my body won't let me do the things I once used to....
