Looks WAYYYYY better without the headlight covers. If you want to keep the chrome front end try color matching the lower valance and the bowtie, that would add body color to the front end and tone down the chrome.

good looking truck. bowtie-color match or paint black, it;s a cheap fix.

I like how that looks. Honestly on your color of truck the chrome doesn't look bad. I'd like it more color matched but it does look good as it is. I've been meaning to match my grille, but I haven't yet, it's hiding behind mesh anyways. I might try plastidip.

Well this topic is worth it's weight in gold so far. Now that we got the headlight covers for sale lol what are the opinions on color matching the grill and the bowtie? or color match with black bowtie? or color match the bowtie and the lower plastic valence that is behind by bull bar to bring some color to the front( it's allready like a silver ) another off color to the front of my truck.

Keep it coming my friends :) it's all MUCH appreciated

Truck looks great without the headlight covers. Colormatch the bowtie, pull the Z71 stickers off(personal preference, some love them) and see where you're at.

Thanks!! What about color matching the lower valence as well as the bowtie ?

When the weather gets warmer I have a set of camo Z71 authentic gm decals to go on.

Valence would look cool, until you caught a curb or parking block or something else. If you're on the street for the most part, you should be fine. I've never seen it, I bet it would look awesome.

Maybe I'm wrong, but by lower valence I meant the silver part behind my bull bar. Where the tow hooks were. It's the only thing of that color and looks "off" IMO too. Color match that and bowtie.

I would start with the bow tie. But it looks so much better with out the light covers. Imo u need some lights on the bull bar tho if your gonna level it and rum camo z71 stickers

Agreed, that is a good link, hahaha.

Truck looks a lot better now without the covers.

Next thing I would do is remove the front valence. I just removed from my dads 2011 after he loved how I made mine look.

Also I would do the 2" level on the front. I would never go back to that down hill slope look. Level is where its at. Also i would paint that bowtie black. I just painted my dads yesterday, will put back on today.

Final thing would be to put a strip of tint on windshield top. Both good looking and useful against sun rays.

Examples..

Leveled.

Bowtie painted and u might be able to see tint strip.
