It is but I'm pretty sure they need to slow down to be legal.

I do not think there is anything for speed. But if it were me I would be scared to death

They are allowed to cut through on surface streets at stop lights/signs. But weaving across a double double yellow into the car pool lane is illegal. My brother was afraid to extend the right tow mirror to keep them from doing it by me. I was in the carpool.

Of the 3 that were purchased one down. I can understand why he was on the closed unfinished new parkway, but officers on this forum I have a question. If you are aware this is a new road still under construction and no section of it is open yet, would you have been doing 62 mph on it to "investigate" the disturbance in a brand new patrol car AWD or not?

I can tell you with almost 100% certainty he was on the road because he knew it was vacant and he wanted to see how quick the new cars were. I would bet a lot of money on that, happens all the time.

I know of a 21 mile section of new limited access interstate (corridor 67) sat waiting on "Wrong Way" and minor side road name markers for over TWO years after the main construction was done. Took them 11 years to build the entire stretch (not from start of planning but from when the first Cats hit the ground!) . Maybe the policeman thought it was like that. Still should have checked it out BEFORE hauling a** down it.
