One of my friends found a few double cab and regular cab trucks out on the road last night.

Are those production models or GM test mules?

 

My friend didn't say. But they have some oddball stickers that likely indicate manufacturer vehicles. Plus, I see tons of M-plated vehicles in his area too.

I like the old suicide extended cab doors at this point. I think the new extend cab doors are great but I dont like the look. thanks for the pics MikeNH!

The double cab will be the better looking truck. Seems the same with tundra.

Yep, Sierra gets the fender trim. Something else to dull with time. I guess to match the dull bed rail plastic caps.

That chrome Z71 badge would meet the hair dryer and dental floss if it was on my truck.

I like the black Plastic on my truck. To each their own I guess. I would love to put those fender trims off the Sierra on my Silverado.

I have always liked these little short box trucks. I have had 5 of them in my life. I had a 79. The last year you could get a 454 in a short box. I did major work on that big block! It was a sleeper! That was back in the day when the Smoky and the Bandit Firebirds were out there. Young kids use to really think they had something and I would eat their lunch with my little truck and blow their minds! hahaha

 

If they built these new trucks with a 6.2 in them they would get my juices flowing!

I think I like Silverado better in Regular cab form. One thing I don't like about these new trucks is the rear bumper I wish GM would have made the whole step thing an option instead of a standard feature.
