I should mention I took that diesel out for a drive again today. Drove it home in the country and back again, did a bit of running around in town. It was 15mpg, 1mpg better than mine according to DIC. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk

My LML averaged 17.5 on the highway before the lift and 33" Toyo's, after it was right at 15. The mileage looked great until it went into regen then it would drop the whole tanks average down at least 2 mpg before it was complete. If you drove it strictly in town you would not get anywhere close to the 15 you were seeing because it would stay in regen most of the time or eventually limp the motor for it not being able to complete the regen after numerous attempts. Don't get me wrong they are amazing trucks but the emissions systems and associated emissions problems is why I got rid of the one I had. If you are debating getting one plan to give it a good highway run at least once every tank. The regen will take about 45min running 75 with a light load.

Regen? Lets not do this regen thing then. What did the doctor tell you when you told him it hurts when lift your right arm all the way up? Doctor said Quote "Do not do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Ha! That was the plan till the feds stepped in and started smoking everyone for offering delete programming; if they would have come out with that ruling a month later I would still be driving the LML.

I did a highway trip and decided to reset about Andrew Square a little south of Boston. Took the Boston Byepass through Logan and headed to the North Shore. Being a little unfamiliar with the route I was doing 45;50 mpg and was shocked. 27 mpg for 20 miles when I started hitting stop lights and traffic. Did my business and started heading back. I came down 93 and wondered what straight highway would do . So I reset again and headed south to Boston and South Shore at 50/60 mph. I almost got to my exit when road work turned good driving into bumper to bumper stop and go. So I pulled out the cell and snapped a pic. Not as good as going north but I was driving faster.

You all gotta be running stock or something, this is mine, combination city highway but the trip A is with a 200 mile highway trip.

is your speedo corrected for the tires?

The dealer told me it was, they left the programmer in the truck for me, but i think it could be gradually off as my speed differs from speed trap signs, maybe I'll get it checked next time I'm in the dealer

They told me mine was too but what they did was flash over the Hypertech program when they did the fire recall. If you are passing everyone on the interstate or getting there quicker than expected you need to check it out. Easiest way to find out is to download a GPS App on your phone and compare.

What speed was your truck registering and how was the temp outside? Both make a difference. Only reason I'm asking is I want a lift but will probably go with a 4" and 33" tires. Don't want to knock my MPGs down too low though

What tires are you running? If you plug up the hypertech it will tell you what they have input if you go into the programming section. If it does nothing they overwrote the hypertech program and you will have to call them to have it reset. Install the hardware on your computer before calling them so you can update it accordingly. I run ProComp Xtreme MT2 tires. They are listed as 34.6" OD but actually with the truck load on them they are 33.67".
