Some places give you a higher rate when they think you have no idea what it should cost to do certain things in automotive. This has been a trend and done to female almost all the time.

So your saying charging a female more isn't ripping someone off? I wasn't aware that someone paying more is justified by their gender of scale of knowledge.

I always shop around when purchasing something, be it tangible items or service work. But then again cheapest isn't always best.

You must know learn as much as you can to verify a cost of an item or service work... the internet is your friend.

Toyo Mts and 75 a poor 13-14 mpg. Everything is in a flat line here so there may be a few downshifting but nothing much. I did a little road trip with my oems. And was getting 19/21 at 75mph. Muds are a little sticky lol. I still love the look!!!!!!!0ec20b86cae5d0615586857d8b2585c0.jpg

Ouch i wonder if calibrating the speedometer would help? I have planned 295/55/20 Toyo MTs or Trail Graps :( My cousin with 295/70/17 Toyo MTs is getting around 15-17 mpg highway going 75-80mph on an 09 Sierra with a blackbear tune.

Your truck does look phenomenal!

I have a 2014, I think he was talking about the brown caps above the strut that go on the strut bolts on the top of the tower

Thanks! I am running same tires 295/55/20 Toyo mt. Even at best going 65mph I only get 14/15 ish.

The 295/55/20 toyo mt are 72 pounds each and the 295/55/20 toyo at2 are 60 pounds each, I'm planning on going with the at2 hopefully the 48 pounds less of rolling mass will help with the mpg.

If they get the RTs in 295/55/20 that's what i'll likely go with, less i can catch a deal on MTs or some trail graps.

Yeah 33x12.5x20 is too thick for my taste they're supposed to be putting out new sizes

Well at my rate of 3500 miles every two months I'll be ready for a new set in no time. I had my tires rotated today and the guy did a test ride on the RT tires and the guy was impressed. Hoping Toyo gets their act together. I wanted the Toyo at2 and no one had them but one dealer another state away and they wanted more then the MT'S because they knew people needed them.

Is there any downside to getting the 2.5 kit and doing a front only level? Because it looks phenomenal. My plan is a 2.5" RC kit, Toyo Open Country RT 33X12.5X20, replacement bumpers, and some other things but i love the look of your truck. Also what tint did you get?

I am replying to a old post that I just caught one. I only did the 2.5 front from rough country and love it. Lmk about the rts. Cuz they are on my radar for my next set. They don't make them in a 295 just yet and I read 33x12.5x20 rub and tug. I have a tint guy in az that did mt work. Limo in back and 20% up front I believe. I pulled all the logos and painted the front gmc black .
