The same strap tore a second time about 90 miles down the road. Same strap different location in the strap. Everything is unloaded and hood was removed after a slight mishap. Here it is

Wow I didn't see the dash and IC in the other videos. A GREAT prank would have been to strap a lawnchair behind it and have someone ride back there with a steering wheel and a helmet.

That little adventure caused some sort of damage to my Sierra. My tailgate no longer opens. But that front clip wasnt bad for $2500

Maybe it crushed your gate. Our 97 had a dimple on the bedside that the topper toolbox was on, the weight of tools crumpled it I guess.

Vibrated the arm(s) from the handle to the release(s) on each side? I had that happen once. Could not see anything wrong with the plastic piece they slip into so put em' back added some baling wire, they never came free again.

Well I just showed you guys how to haul part of a truck if you have a 6.5' bed.

 

This will be done with a emphasis on keeping costs down. We got the front clip for $2500. They wanted $2700, but they gave us a new bumper and fenders. They also took the $200 off because they didnt have the flares.
