Need your help and experience: 35x12.5x20

I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. Recently put a rough country 3"lift/leveling kit on it. It is similar to this 2.5" on their website. For whatever reason I cannot find mine I bought. http://www.roughcountry.com/suspension/4wd-chevy/1500-leveling-lift-kit_1305.php

Currently running 275/60/20 with no issues. They are on a 20x8.5 rim.

I want to buy the 35x12.5x20 TOYO Open Country AT2 tires, but am afraid of possible rubbing (during turning). I've heard it all from yes it will to no it won't. That is why I am reaching out to those who would probably know more than anyone else.

I've ran all the tire-calculations. With the current 275's I have I am not worried about the height of the tires. I got plenty of room. With the 35x12.5x20 they are 15% wider than what I currently run.

Will there need to be cutting involved or will they work just fine with the lift kit I have? Or is there something else or different tire you recommend?

Please share any ideas and opinions. I need help before I spend a lot of money on these tires. I would love to get a tire on the rim somewhere so I can try it out before purchasing, but most places don't even carry those sizes stock and usually have to special order them in. Attached is a few pictures of my truck with the lift.

I am sorry looking for 35's. It is changed in my original post.

Please explain why they will not fit. Like I said I've heard 50/50 but no one has explained in detail why it will or will not. Thanks for the post. I've even used tire calculators and really only big difference is width (15% more than what I got now). Obbiously these are 12.5 wide. The 275/60 are like 11.6 wide or so. I know that difference van mean not much or a lot. Just trying to get some details.

Thanks.

You need to recalculate. A 275/60/20 is only a 32.99 x 10.83. Take into account tire variations from company to company and we'll just call them a 33x11, which would never come close to that size mounted. You want an additional 2.5" in width and 2" in diameter. That's a huge difference. You will have to cut metal out of your fenders and they'll still rub the sway bar. The rubbing of the sway bar will be due to the width of the tire and the conservative offset of the factory wheels. The only way around that is new wheels or wheel spacers which will worsen the rubbing in the fenders. Can you run the tires? Yes. Can you run the, without further modification and rubbing? ABSOLUTELY NOT. 100% guarantee.

It will rub for sure. Whoever told you it won't is a complete idiot.

I have 6" lift on 2500hd, lowered to 4" for perfect angles and it rubs with 35's. Even set @ 6" it still rubs. Even with custom bumper and some other fender mods.

Yeah I have 35's with a -12mm backspace on a 4-6" lift (cant really figure it out, RCX is retarded) and I had to trim valence, and bumper, as well as fender liner so they wouldn't rub. Fixed that with a body lift. I know yall are talking about the NNBS, but they are more square than my truck so it will definently rub
