I find it strange that they would remove any bolts, the bolts and nuts come in a bag. I didn't put mine on until right before I installed them. Unless they also install them after paint, but I'm too cheap to pay people to do that.

I already had them on my truck installed before I decided to get them painted.

Truck looks good. Don't see many with bed rails.

Any winter problems? Frost, snow, salt...?

I used to have them on my '06 Mega Cab with a 6" lift and I never had any problems with them at all in the winter

Nice to hear. Do you have mud flaps (to limit snow and salt intrusion) and where are you located?

Nope no flaps. And also had 37" Toyo M/Ts. I lived in Utah when I had them but traveled a lot from Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

My new 2014 Silverado LTZ crew cab, I need to add some nice nerf bars/running boards. Anyone have any suggestions?

Amp PowerSteps are great.

Not sure where you're located, but I'll make you a killer deal on my factory steps. attachicon.gifIMG_20140810_193909727_HDR.jpg

I live in Columbus, Ohio. What kind of deal?

Per gm ordering guides Laguna Blue Tintcoat for the vette and Deep Ocean Blue Metallic for the silverado are color code G1K so they should be the same color

Do you have a link where you found this? I'm really disappointed with the Deep Ocean Blue pictures on the 2015 Silverado site, looks nothing like the Laguna Blue.

I do have a link, but as I was double checking it appears I was reading with my head too far up my ass. The color code isn't the same, sorry about that...

Wow, so lots of "crap" hitting the steps, and NO issues?
