Hi i'm new to the site,I have a 1988 chevy c1500 I just got as a fixer uper for me and my younger kids. right now I'm having problems with the windshield wipers

the truck has intermitent wipers when you turn on the multi switch they go on continous and when you turn them off either they stay on or they run a few more cylce then just stop where ever they are on the winshield and last when you push the wash control the wiper turn on but does not spray and i just replaced the washer pump and the lines are not clogged. so im trying to figure out if it is the control board or the muliti swithch that is bad looking for some suggestions.

Welcome to the forum! Try posting your issue over in our Pre-1999 forum. We don't have a section specifically for the 1988 right now but will soon.
