Just finished putting on the Weathertech In channel wind deflectors. Install was super easy especially on the front windows, back ones had 2 clips per window. The instructions for the back were detailed, but the pictures were in black and white and difficult to make out how to insert the clips.

Here's a pic:

Nice! I'm going to go with in channel too. Did you get them directly from their main site?

Hey thanks, I bought them off of AMAZON, vendor did not have them in stock, I waited 3 weeks. I would never buy from them again.

Yeah I'm prime also, it was a vendor with the lowest price, come to find out they appear to be a dropped shipper. Mine came directly from weathertech. I paid $114.95 for them.

Hey Mike, so I got my set in from weather tech and tried to install them today... my god was that an epic fail. I've installed them on my F150 and dads accord with no problems ever but when I did my sierra today, I cracked one of the fronts when I put the window up slowly but it wasn't so bad that they were useless or unusable but when I went to do the backs, the first one I put in snapped in both spots where the clips were! I have no idea what the deal is. Bad luck haha? I'm going to call them tomorrow and figure something out but I am stumped as to what could have gone wrong. BTW, did you leave the tiny bit of clear tape on the fronts that is touching the window sil by the mirrors?

If mine had tape, I was unaware. I tried to peel it off with no luck. They are a b!tch to install, I did not break them but I can see that happening and actually I expect them to break.

Hope you have better luck after you contact them.

Excuse my ignorance but I have never used such before. Do the deflectors smooth the air for an open drivers window or just when cracked open a bit?

I think the main purpose is to allow you to crack the windows when its rainy so that u can get some air in the car. I also like it cause I crack the windows in the sumer when the car is parked to let the heat out and don't have to worry if it starts raining.

You are correct sir. I mainly like them for the summer heat issue.
