MotoMedic Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Do you worry about it getting dirty (ie: bugs in summer time, dirt, etc)?Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk It's designed to take abuse, more than any factory GM parts current making up the front of the truck. Plus, it has a great warranty. I might cover it on long road trips during lovebug season, just to make it easier to clean, but that's about it.
Chandlerperry5 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 (edited) Hey guys just wondering if anyone else did it and if they used a different light bar? I know you can get cheaper ones but its all about the demsions of the light bar? Really wanting to do this but not wanting to pay 600.00 for the light and I want the light to fill the gap if I'm gonna cut out that plastic Edited February 26, 2014 by Chandlerperry5 1
MotoMedic Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Rigid's SR-series will also fit, but they're also not cheap: http://www.rigidindustries.com/products/led-lighting/sr-series
Aaron1085 Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Whoa....$219 for 6" of light?! Sent from my DROID RAZR HD
KUUG Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 (edited) Whoa....$219 for 6" of light?! Sent from my DROID RAZR HD They are the top of the line; people that have them say they are the best. I haven't been able to bring myself to those prices, however I will be getting a few sets of the D2's in the future. As far as light bars go, I've seen good reviews on these guys. I haven't ordered from them yet though http://www.trailworthyfab.com/Trail-Worthy-Fab-Trail-Series/ Edited February 27, 2014 by KUUG
Aaron1085 Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 $269 for a 30"...certainly better pricing than Rigid; I wonder how performance is. Anyone else planning on throwing a light bar on their rigs? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD

whaler Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Just picking up a new 2014 truck. I like the mods you guys are doing. I have an ATV with a 6" Rigid light bar. I would like to know more about the behind the grill install? How are you liking it after a few months? I like the stealth look and I am considering installing behind the grill. Thanks guys! 1

jdthomas24 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 I also love it, pita to remove bumper cap and grille but worth it in the long run. Going to remove my straight and put curved in a few weeks. Couple of other hidden options for around the truck we are looking at.
