Same idea i have... Make it a "corsa" with the tips since i love the cosa tip.... I would just order it..... And if its off take it to an exhaust shop and have them bend/cut the tailpipe section for it to fit how u want..... Shouldn't take but 20min of their time

Yes and no.....

Have it..... Back home 1700 miles away. I order stuff and ship it home when i get time off work all the goodies are goimg in!!

Also have a set of American Racing Headers 1 7/8" catless ORY that will be going in.

I will probably end up getting rid of the muffler if i dont like it and replace it with something i do.... In the end i still get stainless steel pipes lol

Love the sound but no ome has it alomg with headers so i dont know how loud it will be.

Hate looking at my stock exhaust pipe when my truck is shined up. Do you think some high temp auto spray paint would last a while on the exhaust tip area that shows from the back bumper area?

i used brush on black caliper paint on my 07's tailpipe and it lasted 3 years.

Well, my Volant catback should be arriving sometime this week. I went ahead and ordered a few accuseal exhaust band clamps (stainless of course), instead of using the crappy (in my opinion) u bolt clamps that come with the kit. Now all I have to decide on, is if I am going to just keep the Volant tip, or upgrade to the dual exit Corsa style...I really wish I knew that it would fit correctly and look good without buying and trying it....decisions decisions....anyone know of any other tip options for this 3" kit?

Curious question for those who have the GM Borla exhaust. Why not just install the same or comparable Borla muffler in the stock system? It already has the flapper installed and the price difference is huge.

Of course, it prompts a second question. Which Borla muffler matches the GM Borla system?

If you are looking for a Corsa style tip check out SUM-691201 at Summit. Looks identical to the Corsa tip other than the logo and is significantly less expensive. Edited February 16, 2016 by je1279

Thank you. Yes, I have recently stumbled upon the Summit example. As well as one from Red Tail Performance too. I really like this style and would buy it in a heartbeat, but I just don't want to finagle with it at all. Meaning, if it were to bolt up and fit really nice,I would buy one. I just don't want it to look goofy (stick out to far, or beat a goofy angle) I think I will just wait until my exhaust gets here and investigate it a bit more when I have it in front of me to get a better idea of possible fitment.
