Still loving my truck!! Hope the aftermarket catches up soon as I want more stuff!!

Mike

That makes two of us Mike. I have told several folks, this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have owned Corvettes, Cadillacs, Mercedes, BMWs, etc., but I would take my Denali over any of them. It is absolutely loaded and everything works as advertised! As for more stuff, I am with you there too. I check several web sites every day. I especially want a CAI ASAP. I'm going to Charlotte on Jan. 21 to get mine performance tuned and would like to have a CAI installed before that. So far, no one has anything for the 6.2. Air Raid and Volant both have one for the 5.3, but have not tweaked it for the 6.2 as of this morning. I'm also waiting for more chrome, but that is not as important as the CAI.

Was waiting for my wife this morning in the Truck (what else is new) and thought, hey, I can pop in my thumb drive and watch something. TRON kept me entertained for 20 minutes while the wife got her act together and finally came out.

PS. I was wrong before about formats. The head Unit plays mp4's. not AVI.

Drive in movie theater

Next I want to figure out how to stream Netflix from my phone (Note 3) to the head unit.

Way cool, I'll try that this weekend as I have more than a few external HD laying around.

I don't know if it makes a difference but this is a USB 3.0 interface . Funny thing is I had the same songs on a regular thumb drive but the small screen would not browse the drive.

OJ,

Like you, I feel this is the best vehicle I've owned hands down. Over the last six years, I've had 700 series BMW, a 2010 camaro, 2009 loaded AV, 2012 Cruze (turbo) and 2013 turbo Malibu.

I haven't seen many performance parts yet, it will take the after market 12-18 months to catch up. Like you, I love the the bling and duel exhaust (still debating what to install). I did purchase a DUHA underseat storage box.

Let us know how the performance tuning goes.

Mike

Oh the glass cleaner is the best I've every used, thanks!

It's good to know someone else can relate to comparing these trucks to high end automobiles. Ten years ago we wouldn't even be considering such a discussion.

i sure hope some of the aftermarket guys get moving quicker than 12 months. A few things are starting to show up, especially for the 5.3. I'm sure Air Raid will have a CAI for the 6.2, they are already selling it for the 5.3. I guess the remaining chrome trim I'm looking for will be a few months out.

As for my performance tune, yes I'll definitely post my thoughts on it. For what it's worth, Alvin, the guy at PCM for Less in Mooresville, NC, who's doing my tune, actually gets his software data from HP Tuners, in the commercial form. If anyone is interested and adventurous/knowledgable enough, HP Tuners do have the software to tune ALL the new GM Eco Tech V-8 engines, as of about two weeks ago.

I am really loving this truck. I was telling my wife last night that it actually FEELS like a 50K luxury truck. I am really more and more impressed with the mileage as well.

I think it just goes to show how well GM can build a vehicle.

This isn't your grandmother's cavlier station wagon (yes, my grandmother had one of these POS).

High end automobile it is!! Heck my FM HD radio even works good.

Not making light of any of the problems that some people are having, but it is great to see all of the good things, and owners that are happy and problem free. Due to get my 6.2L right after Christmas, and this thread makes it hard to wait!

I agree so I'm adding my positive experiences too. I ordered my 14 Denali in September and was told not to expect it until late December. My truck arrived November 9th much to my surprise! I traded my 2011 Denali and was hoping the 14 was as great as the hype. I must say, I love the hell out of my truck too! It is soooo much more comfortable and quieter than my 11. The steering wheel is fatter and the seats are lower. I'm tall and I always felt like my head was on the roof in my 11. The telescoping column was something I always wished for in my 11 so that was a plus. GM did a great job and I'm glad I traded up. I did take her to the dealer to investigate a whine behind the driver side front tire that sounded like an old power steering pump starving for fluid. I was told it was ok so I'm not worrying about it. I like the truck so much that I don't even think about the noise unless I remote start it at home and hear it when I'm heading out. If you're thinking about it, go for it. If you're apprehensive about it, I understand but anything on the road can break at any time. I really don't think GM would rush to deliver a sub par truck after all the marketing hype they put in for the 2014's. Enjoy your trucks!

Bump this topic....

Since there seems to be a rash of negative posts developing or being resurrected form months ago; I wanted a positive post to be back on top.

I've almost had my sierra for two months and still enjoy the heck out of it. I have zero issues or complaints like some people are complaining about.....

This is probably one of the best trucks I have ever owned and I've owned a lot of vehicles.
