Do the new trucks have a cab filter? My 09 did not and would get very dirty inside. I see reference to one in the manual but haven't had time to look for one. If so what is involved in getting to it to change it out.

Thanks.

Your owners manual tells you all about it....

My owners manual tells me nothing about how to change it. Unless I am looking in the wrong section. But thanks just wanted to no if it did indeed have one i'll be able to figure it out.

Passenger Compartment Air Filter

The filter removes dust, pollen, and other airborne irritants from outside air that
is pulled into the vehicle.

The filter should be replaced as part of routine scheduled maintenance. See
Maintenance Schedule. To find out what type of filter to use, see
Maintenance Replacement Parts.

  1. Open the lower glove box door completely.
  2. Remove the four screws from around the lower glove box. The door does not need to
be removed to access the screws.

  3. Close the lower glove box door and pull it from its frame to remove the entire unit.

  4. Release the two tabs holding the service door. Open the service door and remove the
    old filter.
  5. Install the new air filter.
  6. Close the service door and secure the tabs.
  7. Reverse the steps to reinstall the glove box.

See your dealer if additional assistance is needed.

I was reading it in mine yesterday, so it's in there. Can't remember what section it was in. It tells you how to remove and install a new one.
