After reading this topic, I did call McGard direct before purchasing the item and I was told I have to order the product first. They only have one model. Once I get it, there is ID information in the package. I would have to call McGard back up and give this information to them to get the adapter free of charge. This is the only way they would sent me the adaptor. Thanks for everyone about making me aware of the adaptor issue for this truck.

I'm still pleased with the Masterlock Tailgate Lock. I posted a photo of it earlier in this thread. It fit my '14 with no issue.

 

Just ordered this on Amazon along with some Gorilla Lock lug nuts. Seen enough trucks on cinder blocks and with stolen tailgates on the forums for me to spend less than $30 to give my truck a fighting chance at not being another theft statistic.
