Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has put ICI Magnum RTs onto a 2017 Silverado? Having some trouble with the moulding getting in the way of the boards hugging up to the rocker and wanted to see if anyone else had that issue and modified the moulding or if they just let them hang a little lower. I know this is a super specific ask, but if anyone has any input I'd love to hear what their experience was with it. Thanks. Updated with pics for reference.

I'll send some pictures in a couple hours of mine. I think we installed flush to the plastic caps with a small gap.

Won't need it to touch the body to receive rocker panel protection, having it slightly lower works great.

I recently installed Havoc HS2 bars. A little more step area compared to N-Fab. Very solid too.attachicon.gif20170513_175454.jpg

Have more pics of these? Really like those and reading product info very high quality.

Put the ICI Magnum RTs on this weekend, loving them so far. Was a little worried they were hanging too low initially, but once I got everything tightened and adjusted where I wanted, they came out great. No flex, feel really strong and they're short wife approved [emoji23][emoji23].

anybody have part number for the GM chrome amp style steps?

GM doesn't make Amp style steps. The new ones from GM only come "out" not "out and down" like the Amps. And there are many threads on here where it was determined they can't be retrofitted to existing trucks without a LOT of custom programming to the BCM.

But to answer your question -- no I don't have a part number.

Installed the ICI Magnum RTs few months back got a deal on them for under 2 bills free ship no tax. After reviewing many running boards, dollar for dollar this was the best choice based off of reviews and value. Additionally have seen a few members stating they changed the silver bolts to black ones on the boards, however with past experience that wouldn't matter over time the black would wear back to silver so, I left those alone. Very easy to install don't see why other members had difficult time in doing so.

Got the ICI Magnum RTs as well and love em, install is very easy, I just had some issues with fitment with the factory moulding on the 2017 Silverado, but after a little toying around with it, came out great.

Yes sir, absolutely lovem as well, boards are just right even for a size 11 boot. Ive reviewed many boards and had noticed that the gap between the running board and underbody were more than what these display however, not as tight so that cleaning cant be completed.

How is the placement of the steps? Heard some complaints on N-Fabs about the step not being in the right position for natural entry / exit.

This is my second set of N-Fab steps and the step location is in the right location for me.

Just installed my RC steps

I'm selling my OEM ones

The RC steps are made by NFAB

There was a label in the box that said NFAB

Also the steps are definitely awkward for getting in and out of the truck. They should be further back

But they look good!
