Any suggestions for a black wheel to wheel application on a 2015 crew cab standard bed? Preferably one that has a continuous step from front to rear so that you could put your foot anywhere

Had all but decided on n-fabs but we recently ran into another GM owner who had them and I had the mrs try them out. Getting in was fine but getting out the step just really needed to be about 10" further back with the way she exits. She said it felt awkward to exit and that she would just slide out in leu of using the steps which is exaclty what I was trying to avoid I'm trying to keep the edge of the seat leather in one piece so back to the drawing board...

I'm on my third set of running boards. My second set were the N-fabs, and my wife didn't like them. Frankly, I didn't like them that much either and just sold them. The Nfabs look great, but in my opinion the step is too far forward for exiting the vehicle. If you wear nice dress shoes, or your wife has on heels, the N-fabs are a real burden. Plus, they provide virtually no protection for your vehicle if you're running back-roads with AT or MT tires. I think any raptor style running board will suit your purpose. The RB10s come to mind. Of course, like the N-fabs, the RB10s seem to have their own issues and are rather expensive.

I went with the DeeZee NXT boards. They are powdercoated aluminum so rust is not an issue. I had heard too many complaints about the RB10 boards pealing and rusting.

I had a piece of leftover plastic so I decided to make a couple pieces to go from the fenders to my steps to try to prevent rock chips in my doors and to keep the steps clean. I got the idea from these pieces made for Raptor steps.

I'm not sure yet if I like them, but it beats having mud flaps hanging down.

Rocks hit the front of the boards and bounce up and chip the bottom of the doors. You have to do something like this guy did.

I waxed the truck over the weekend and I found no chips in the doors or rockers so I'd say the boards and flaps are working great because the tires pick up some big rocks.

I recently installed Havoc HS2 bars. A little more step area compared to N-Fab. Very solid too.post-141393-149721540726_thumb.jpg

Hey guys, looking into buying some ICI magnum RTs and I'm split on going wheel to wheel with bed access step or just cab length. Any input on the pros and cons of the bed access step is much appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is really personal tastes. I don't like the look of the third step, so I went with cab length on my N-Fabs. I didn't see that the need for the cab step was enough to override my dislike of the appearance. Again, personal opinion!

I actually like the look of the bed access step, but was wondering if people had encountered more flex or any issues with them. I'm leaning towards cab length just cause the magnum wheel to wheels are like $700 and i have a tri-fold tonneau so I probably won't use that step much except to wash the truck. The minor look upgrade isn't worth the extra $400, unless I find myself buying them after a couple bourbons, then who knows lol.

Hello everyone! I'm looking to get my new truck a few useful mods so that it's ready for everyday tasks. I need to get steps on, mainly so my wife can get up in it. Eventually, I may put a leveling kit on the truck, but no desire for a lift/tires. I am looking at what steps to get. I have a 2017 Double Cab. I kind of like the idea of the bed access, but I know that limits my options quite a bit. The main thing I want is nice wide step areas, so I can use the area to reach up on the roof (i may have a Yakima rack on from time to time), and an easy way to knock off snow from my shoes. I live and travel in the rust belt, so good durable finishes at the top of my list. I found the Havoc HS3 in a double cab wheel access model, not sure what else I should be looking for.

check out Westin pro-traxx 4

I found the Pro-Traxx 5 are wheel to wheel and available for the Double cab. They are rocker panel mounted, however. Is that anything to be concerned about? From what reviews I can find, seems they are perfectly rigid mounted there? Not sure the differences between 4 and 5.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has put ICI Magnum RTs onto a 2017 Silverado? Having some trouble with the moulding getting in the way of the boards hugging up to the rocker and wanted to see if anyone else had that issue and modified the moulding or if they just let them hang a little lower. I know this is a super specific ask, but if anyone has any input I'd love to hear what their experience was with it. Thanks. Updated with pics for reference.
